My camera won't turn on.

Is your camera unresponsive when you try to switch it on? If so, here are a few pointers to check.

To turn on your camera, press and hold the small power button on the top. If this is successful, you should hear a brief start-up sound as the blue activation light flashes, and the screen should switch on.

If your camera is unresponsive:

1. Ensure that it is fully charged

• Using the provided USB-C cable, connect your camera to a power source.
• The camera will give a flashing red light to indicate that it is charging, and solid red when fully charged.
  
  

• If the red charging light does not show, there may be a poor connection with the battery.
• Take off the camera case, and disconnect the battery module (red module at the bottom) by sliding across the lock. Reconnect the battery, and ensure that it is fully connected and the lock is clicked in place.

3. Try connecting to a computer

• Use the USB-C cable to connect your camera to a computer - the camera will give a flashing red light to indicate that it is connected and charging.
• Try turning on the camera by pressing and holding the small power button on the top.
  
  

4. Remove the battery

• Take off the camera case, and disconnect the battery module (red module at the bottom) by sliding across the lock.
• Using the provided USB-C cable, connect your camera to a power source.
• The camera should power on without the battery connected when plugged in.

• If the camera still does not power on, it is likely an issue with the Core Module which may need to be replaced. If it does power on, the issue could be with the battery. Please reach out to help@oculo.ai for advice on replacement parts.
